 The non-criminal disputes come under civil law. As per Indian law, it is mainly governed by the Code of Civil Procedure 1908. For example, if an individual or a private party conduct injury with performance as property damage, breach of contract, and a few other behaviors comes under civil law

If an offense is conducted against the state, public, or society, or else an individual is a victim then it comes in criminal law. For example assault, murder, drunken drive, and theft are a few offenses that come in. Consumer law protects customers from being cheated by retail salesmen and manufacturers.  It is designed for a fair trade process with truthful information in any marketplace.
